In late summer 2022, a larger scale field deployment of 213 Seisnode B5 nodes was done on survey for Seismic Partners and Geoex MCG in Q35 offshore mid-Norway. The survey was in the Norwegian trench at approximately 400m water depth. The seisnodes sere deployed on the south side of the survey and complimented a grid laid out with nodes from another supplier. The nodes were free-dropped on deployment and recovered by ROV. The nodes were in the water for up to 70 days. Data was recovered from all nodes, but three had partial data only, which was attributed to insufficient pre-deployment verification. Initial data quality assessment concluded that the resolution was equivalent to the nodes from the other supplier, but as the seisnodes recorded at 1ms, these had higher bandwidth.
