Seisnode’s CEO and founder Jeroen Hoogeveen presented one of the key Seisnode technologies at IMAGE ’23 in Houston. During a well attended session, featuring presentations of high tech OBN acquisition equipment, Seisnode went against the grain, presenting a patented data driven approach to derive positions and clock synchronisation, allowing simplification of the in water equipment.
The stated aim for Seisnode is to make OBN acquisition significantly more economical. Seisnode’s compact, long endurance node design is a fundamental element to the strategy as it allows for more efficient survey designs.
